Why did you go into PT? I went into PT because I didn’t want a desk job, didn’t want to teach, and wasn’t sure what I could do with a biology degree! I knew I wanted to work with people, but didn’t know how much I would love the profession until I got into it!
What do you like most about being a PT? Meeting all of you!
Where did you grow up? Fair Lawn, NJ
Where did you go to college? Stockton College, BS in Biology and DPT in Physical Therapy
What was your first job? My first job was a merchandiser for Fossil watches in Macys. I put the watches on the displays and followed pictures so everything looked exactly like the company wanted. My first PT job was at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paterson where I worked the ortho/trauma floor and saw everyone right after surgery.
How do you like to stay active? I Crossfit and run!
How would friends describe you? After taking a poll from friends, they would describe me as loyal, dependable and caring
Hidden talent? Hobbies? I love to cook! I hate buying anything from a store, so if I can make it from scratch, usually I will. Also, my husband and I make specialty cocktails!
Who’s at home? I’ve been married for 3 years and have an 8 year old cat named Hannah
Mountain cabin, beach house or big city condo? Beach house!
How many pairs of shoes do you own? Plead the fifth. I love shoes, especially sneakers.
Do you play a musical instrument? I used to play the flute and the piano but haven’t in years.
- Place to Travel? Somewhere warm! I love sand, sun, and ocean
- Food? There isn’t much that I don’t care for!
- Sport to Watch? Our house is filled with football in the fall and hockey all winter and spring
- Ice Cream Flavor? Vanilla Peanut Butter with rainbow sprinkles!
